AMLISS Japanese Bookbinding Workshop
Wed March 3 6pm-7:30pm Sloane Art Library
Learn from art librarian Josh Hockensmith how to bind a book Japanese-style. Supplies will be provided for you to create your own unique book: binder’s needles, binder’s thread and paper. Space is limited so please RSVP by midnight Monday March 1 to David Parisi by emailing: parisi@email.unc.edu.
Hartman Center Field Trip →
Fri Feb 19th, AMLISS is heading to the Hartman Center. The field trip leaves on the Robertson Scholar’s Bus at 9:30am, near UNC’s Planetarium. The group will head to Duke University and meet with the fabulous Lynn Eaton. Everybody returns around 12:30pm, catching the bus back to Chapel Hill.
